SPEAKERS

Hannah Townsend, Associate Director, Real Estate Tax at Deloitte LLP

Hannah is an associate director in the real estate tax compliance team. She is part of a team which specialises in the delivery of the highest quality of outsources tax compliance services for real estate funds.

Hannah has extensive experience in managing global client compliance portfolios which include onboarding, annual planning and management of compliance obligations, processes and associated requirements. She provides tax compliance series to client which including compliance for UK corporates, Non Resident Landlords, UK Partnerships and REITs.

She is a qualifies Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.


Nick Jones, Associate Director, Real Estate Tax at Deloitte LLP

Nick has been part of the Deloitte Real Estate tax advisory team since 2015, having worked in another Deloitte tax team before that. He advises a wide range of UK and international clients (the majority being private equity fund managers, UK listed property groups including real estate investment trusts, and institutional investors) on issues relating to UK and European real estate taxation, both on transactions and in a portfolio advisory context. Nick has a particular focus on advisory work in relation to the recent changes to the taxation of non-UK resident investors in UK real estate, which have come into effect in 2019 and 2020.
