SPEAKER:

Howard Le Cornu, CHAIR of The Resolution Centre

With more than 20 years in chief executive and board level roles, Howard knows how to lead collaboratively, facilitate difficult conversations and resolve conflict when it inevitably arises.

His personal and professional credo is ‘connecting people – creating opportunity’ and this aligns with his unwavering belief in the power of common goals. Howard’s strength lies in bringing individuals together to make decisions in a different way. He directs focus to the problem, coaches people to leave personality politics aside and assists them in finding win–win outcomes that work for everyone.

Howard acquired most of his professional experience from roles in the maritime industry and being on or near the water is where Howard is most comfortable. Born in Jersey, Howard’s first taste of leadership came at an early age as leader of the Jersey Youth Orchestra. These days he continues to create harmony outside of The Resolution Centre as a violinist with the Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
