Speakers

Ben Honeywood, Private Equity Director at KPMG Channel Islands Limited

For the past decade Ben has specialised in providing audit and assurance services within the Private Equity industry and currently works with a range of buyout, private debt, infrastructure and PE fund of fund houses delivering financial statement audits as well as controls reporting, and specific assurance reporting such as carry and track record reviews.

Ben has a number of roles within Invest Europe and the British Venture Capital Association, and is a regular presenter at seminars on PE valuation. Ben is a member of the Jersey Fund Association executive committee.

James Le Bailly, Audit Director at KPMG Channel Islands Limited

James joined KPMG in the Channel Islands in 2006 and his primary responsibilities encompass the provision of audit services and related regulatory reporting to a wide range of listed and unlisted funds and investment management structures which hold global assets.

James’ experience includes a secondment to KPMG San Francisco for two years working primarily in Building Construction and Real Estate (‘BCRE’) and Alternative Investments including the audit of venture capitalist funds and technology and software companies.

James’ experience in real estate valuation has involved work over investment property located across Europe and the Americas including trophy assets in London as well as student accommodation, retail, leisure, industrial and office portfolios.
