This seminar forms part of the 2020 Funds CPD Seminar Series – a series of 10 CPD seminars, which take place throughout 2020.

The 2020 Funds CPD Seminar Series provides essential updates for Funds professionals, delivered by industry recognised experts. This series will comprise 10 monthly seminars of 60 minutes, inclusive of a 15-minute Q&A, covering a wide range of topics.

SPEAKERS

Alex Henderson, Senior Associate at Mourant

Alex is a Senior Associate within Mourant's Investment Funds practice. Alex has a diverse investment funds practice but has particular expertise with private equity and private equity style debt, real estate and infrastructure funds. Alex was named as a 'rising star' in the 2020 edition of The Legal 500.

Alex has seven years' experience as an onshore funds lawyer, working on a number of high profile multi-jurisdictional mandates for a global client base. Alex joined SJ Berwin in 2011 and qualified into the investments funds team before joining the London office of Boston headquartered Goodwin Procter.

John MacFeeters, Senior Associate at Mourant

John is a Senior Associate within Mourant's Investment Funds

Practice. John trained with Mourant in Jersey and left the firm in 2017 to work as a Client Director for a local administrator, in this role John held a number of regulated board positions together with acting as "A" authorised signatory for the business. Following his time out of Law, John re-joined the Mourant investment funds team in late 2018. His practice focuses primarily on working with real estate and private equity fund promoters in connection with fund launches, restructurings, investment holding structures and associated related regulatory matters. Johns clients span a wide range of assets under management and geographical bases.
