Naomi Rive is a Group Director and Head of Family Office at independent trust business, Highvern. A lawyer by training, Naomi was called to the English Bar in 1999 and re-qualified as a Jersey Advocate in 2003. During her time as a Partner of law firm, Appleby, Naomi provided wealth-structuring advice to high net worth individuals, international private banks and trust companies. In 2014, Naomi joined Coutts & Co Trustees (Jersey) Limited where she was a Board Director and a part of the senior management team. The business was subject to a management buy-out in late 2016 in which Naomi played a key role and this led to the business being re-branded as Highvern Trustees.

Naomi works closely with Highvern’s international client base and their independent legal, tax and investment advisers to ensure the establishment and implementation of robust and sustainable wealth planning structures. Naomi has considerable experience of providing trustee services in connection with complex trust structures and sitting on the board of directors of private trust companies. Naomi is a former Chair to STEP in Jersey and for many years sat on the Jersey Finance Trusts Law Working Party. She is also a former adjunct-professor of trusts at the Jersey Institute of Law.
