Originally an Accounting and Finance graduate from Dublin City University, Louise moved to Jersey and worked in the finance team at the Bank of Nova Scotia. Later, she moved to Andersen where she qualified as an accountant. Louise’s teaching career started at BPP in 2002. Since then, she has been teaching on the various accountancy qualifications including ACCA, ICAEW and ICAS as well as on the ICSA finance modules. Her areas of expertise are primarily financial management, UK tax and VAT. In more recent years, Louise has spent more of her time teaching on CPD programmes. The growing number of UK real estate structures in Jersey has led to increased demand for UK tax courses in this area. Louise also teaches annual Finance Act updates, as the UK tax regime is ever changing! |
