The 2019 Guernsey Future of Financial Services CPD Seminar Series provides essential updates on the future trajectory of financial services for those working in the financial services industry in Guernsey. All seminars are delivered by industry recognised experts. This series will comprise 10 monthly seminars of 60 minutes, inclusive of a 15-minute Q&A, covering a wide range of topics.

Kate joined the Collas Crill team in February 2019 following four years as Deputy CEO of Guernsey Finance. In this role, Kate was privileged to work with firms across all sectors of industry including funds, private client, insurance, banking and professional services. During her time with Guernsey Finance, she helped identify new opportunities for the industry and assisted in bringing new clients to Guernsey from around the world. Before moving to the island Kate lived in Hong Kong for several years, where she completed her MBA with Ivey alongside Mandarin studies with the University of Hong Kong. Previous to this, Kate was a political analyst with the world’s oldest think tank in London, the Royal United Services Institute, where she helped with significant research projects on issues such as the UK/NATO defence policy and coordinating humanitarian operations in Afghanistan. After graduating from Georgetown University, Kate worked as a researcher for Rt Hon Oliver Letwin MP before completing an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science. As Global Relationship Manager at Collas Crill, Kate's main role is to develop new business opportunities for the firm and build upon our growing international network. Her significant experience with the Chinese market will help connect private clients, family offices and businesses with our team of experts, who can advise on a range of issues including investment funds, inter-generational wealth transfer and international expansion. Fluent in French, Italian and Spanish, as well as Mandarin, Kate will also be working alongside the Business Development and Marketing team to continue to develop the firm's profile in North America and Europe. Kate has been recognised by Citywealth in its Leaders List (2018) and as one of the publication's Powerwomen (2015, 2016, 2017). |
