Liz joined BPP C.I. in 2010 from Helm Trust Company where she worked as a Trust Manager. Prior to that she worked at EY where she qualified as an accountant and worked in the tax department working in international tax planning. Liz also has a BA degree in Business Management from Exeter University.
Liz’s main responsibilities are the management of professional qualifications; delivering professional qualification courses; developing and reviewing course materials and assisting the Managing Director with the day to day running of the centre
Liz structures her classroom courses to be as interactive as possible; asking students to participate either through completing individual lecture examples or group discussions. She welcomes questions throughout the course to ensure all students are confident with the material. This approach allows students to develop and reinforce their knowledge as they progress through the course.
Liz delivers examination courses for the ACCA, Foundations in Accountancy, ICSA and ACA qualifications. She also teaches professional development courses such as Accounting for lease arrangements; Accounting for share based payments and Interpretation and analysis of company and trust accounts.
